In true keeping with the spirit of hair salons and their instinctive interest and dedication to their clients, the Anthony Vincent Salon of East Windsor, NJ stepped up immediately to help the victims of Super Storm Sandy by having its highly charismatic owner, Anthony Vincent, raffle off a Fender Strata Castor guitar signed by Rock-n-Roll icons at the first “Restore the Shore” fundraising concert hosted by Gary U.S. Bonds at The Strand Theater in Lakewood, NJ. The concert benefited the Ocean & Monmouth County food banks, raising enough funds to provide 2,500 meals!
The Anthony Vincent Salon also helped raise funds at another “Restore the Shore” concert, this time hosted by The Smithereens and Eddie Tests on New Year’s Eve, also at The Strand Theater. A total of 12 concerts will take place with all of the proceeds to benefit the victims of Super Storm Sandy. The salon also donated 250 beauty gift bags valued at approximately $225 for the concert goers to take home!
The Anthony Vincent Salon is now working with “Donations for Sandy,” serving as a drop-off location for food, clothing and toys. The salon has even sent their expert technicians, including the extremely charming Anthony Vincent, to make-over Sandy victims who lost everything in the storm.
